Mrs. Bertha D. Rowland, 81, formerly of 312 List St., died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the Ben Hur Nursing Home. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky. Mrs. Rowland was born in Louisville May 19, 1891, a daughter of C. T. and Nancy Arnold Dearing. She married Daniel G. Rowland Jr., in Louisville on July 3, 1912. Survivors include three sons, Charles E. of Temple City, Calif., D. G. Rowland III of Crawfordsville, and William K. of Shelbyville; five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home. Rev. Larimore Wickett will officiate. Burial will be Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
